    Boy, can I relate to what you're saying, Saqqara... "I would kill for some good junk shops, craft shops with unusual stuff, a decent flea market-the one here is mostly new "fakes" stuff and cheap novelty crap. I see all kinds of great shops in magazines and wish they could be here...

    Nici, You might know this already, local 'Value Village' thrift (second-hand) stores are super for jewelry. I have picked up lots of great pieces that can be used in my collage works. I even found clock/watch parts, and a silver brooch that has hanging hearts, etc. from it - looks quite vintage...
