    Boy, can I relate to what you're saying, Saqqara... "I would kill for some good junk shops, craft shops with unusual stuff, a decent flea market-the one here is mostly new "fakes" stuff and cheap novelty crap. I see all kinds of great shops in magazines and wish they could be here...

    The Blues Fest in Edmonton (see: http://www.bluesinternationalltd.com/) was fantastic - the weather could have been better but when you're a true blueser, the weather is insignifcant. We caught some really good performances: Elvin Bishop (we've got his records from the 1970's) and Los Lobos...

    Bill that sounds like the work of Michael DeMeng; have you seen his stuff? Out of this world! I have altered wallclocks, lunchboxes, birdhouses, mirrors, books, altoid tins, CDs, shoes, a music box, magnets, and more. Two things I WANT to alter... One of those wooden manikins artists use for figure drawing...
