  • Spider Web

    Have you ever noticed how beautiful spider webs are? They are truly awesome looking in the early morning when they are moist with morning dew or mist. I cheated here because I notice the web while watering my backyard garden and the web was wet with the mist from my garden hose.

  • Praying Mantis Close Up

    This is a pretty nice close up of my not so little Praying Mantis friend. Look at those long legs. And, yes, I am talking to him and he is looking at me and listening to me. Frankly, I think he was quite annoyed about being interrupted by my afternoon shower.

    This is a close up of a Praying Mantis. He is definitely one of the good boys of the garden because he eats other bugs. All my life, I thought he was actually a hero because he ate the bad bugs.   • Water Hyacinth with Turbo, Jr.

    I took this picture of the Water Hyacinth in my sister's pond because I think it is a fascinating looking plant. Imagine my surprise when I uploaded the pictures and found one of Turbo the Frog's offspring sitting on the plant and sunning himself.
