Please, please, please take a good look at that face! Do you see the expression on his face? His face says it all! Not YOU again! Can't you please let a bird eat in peace? When I brought the picture of this little guy into photoshop to take a good look at him, I just couldn't stop laughing. I'm beginning to think my birds are just going to go find another feeding station.  I know that all of the birds that come to my feeders find me very annoying. They weren't happy with me when I had my point and shoot camera. Now that I have a brand new DSLR camera to play with I'm out there all of the time taking pictures because I need the practice. I don't know, I thought it was a pretty fair bartering exchange. I give them food, they pose for me. Yeah, right!

Hey Julie!  This just makes my morning!  I think we all are benefitting from your interactions! Way to negotiate with nature!

Hey, they're chicks, you're a chick - what's the problem, Julie?!!  Love the photo - you have such a good eye for capturing nature at its' best.

Have you ever seen National Geographic's picture of the "mad blue bird"? That's what this chickadee reminds me of - and puts a BIG smile on my face.

If you have a good external flash, try and do a "flash fill" of the face - even on a sunny day it makes a tremendous difference. I am having to learn this myself.

Gentle hugs,
