Da Vinci's Perspective by chameleon

No EXIF data is available

My submission to the Studio Art Kit #7 at http://artellacafe.com/forums/t/4231.aspx based on the theme of Da Vinci.  I was extremely proud that I won second place for this entry, my first studio kit artwork. I found a perspective drawing that consisted of six circles and filled each one with drawings by this famous artist.  The middle is the very recognizable Mona Lisa with the Vetruvian Man.  The background is writings of Da Vinci as well as the quote I used: "Why does the eye see a thing more clearly in dreams than the imagination when awake."

This is exquisite -- I think Leonardo himself would appreciate the symmetry and the interplay between mechanism and organism.  Beautifully executed!  Constance
