Our first rainy season here, we were agog: stood out on the porch like hillbillies (yeah, AND?) -- watched the darkest dark roll in mid-day, countless lightning strikes at once, brilliant and flashy (ha!) and bouncing about. Very eerie -- then after a rain, color where you didn't realize anything was even growing! Greenish hills, spots of brilliant color where some half-dead thing sprouted a flower... the ocotillo waving its kerchiefs (not around our place, I must admit, but I always think of them after a rain)... on Art Rage
I love your description!
Hi Constance!
I have to ditto Opheliac's sentiments. You've described a beautiful vision of Mother Nature's fireworks. Gee, Constance, my first two thoughts were that I sure hope you had your camera handy and when do we get to see the photos?
Hugs, Julie
Blue-black jagged lightening flashes in your collage are very ingenious, Constance, and express what must have been an amazing scene.

Great work Bill! I debated using this piece too. Constance does have some great work and I love your take on it too. So glad you decided to play along.
Bill,
I love your interpretation of Constance's art work. An amazing collaboration.
