    This is such a good topic to reply to, and the two artists - copper cat and Fancifalls - have written such great messages that they are inspirations in themselves!  Thanks for your terrific work and efforts in this contest.  Hope to read more before the contest ends.....

    Inspiration frequently starts when I see something colorful and unusual, followed by an "ah-ha, I want to create something".  I begin another journey (the most important part), always with a little trepidation.  It's important for me to document the finish, feeling thrilled that once again I've beaten back the "critic."  Calliope
