In the winter garden

in a colored copper shadow

of naked tree's branches,

a red cat stands

on a full moon night.

Breathtaking colors in a rainbow of options

When the grey of the watery windows of my soul give way

To dazzling refractory sunlight

 Both of you are so inspiring!  I'm at work now, but since every artist loves color, I'm going to have to write a poem, too. 

Crisp red apples
Juicy oranges
Plump yellow grapefruit
Fuzzy green kiwi
Sweet ripe blueberries
Lucious purple grapes
. . . I must be hungry -- the rainbow makes me think of fruit

Tempt me with a kiss

from your luscious red lips.

Excite me with the fire

in your smoky brown eyes.

Tease me with the moistness

of your pink probing tongue.

Caress me with the touch

of your creamy white skin.

Darn!  Daydreaming again.

Punch the black keys

Hola GATA DE COBRE , exactly, that was you: and this is another:

Drench my body with black syrup

sprinkle yellow and golden magic over me

until my body glows

douse me with red earth--two or three

spoons full, maybe more, till I can take no more.

Invigorate my spirit with colors, please

that I need to teach the children

and plant colorful seeds in my garden.
