I just had to share this! 

While viewing this collage http://collagemuseum.com/Bakers/Bakers5/exb13.htm I scrolled down the page using the mouse wheel.

The image got smaller and smaller as if I was shrinking it by percentages. I thought that was weird because I wasn't viewing this as a magnified image; it's just a page. Then I used the scroll bar on the side to go up and down and got a different experience. 

I tried it with some other collages on the site and didn't get the same shrinking effect.

I wonder if the collage artist knows about the cool, illusionary effect!

A few months ago someone here posted a gorgeous white on white image in her gallery, with beautiful textural quality and I can't recall who it is! 

That was so cool! Even my son noticed it seemed to be shrinking.

Then it isn't so weird after all if it also looked to be shrinking by you and your son. I wondered if this post was lost in LaLa-Land. How did you find it?

I wasn't able to experience the effect, even using my mouse wheel.  The collage just scrolled up off the page.  Any tips?

The collage design makes it appear to "shrink" as you scroll down. It doesn't really shrink, but at first I thought it was shrinking. I was just wondering if anyone else had the same visual experience. Maybe some do and some don't. Thank you for checking. -Mary
