Hi!  I haven't posted in a while, but I had a question.  Would someone go over the "rules" for a fib?  I'd like to try writing one.

    Thanks!  Have a great weekend!

    Re: Fib

    Sure, Jessie!

A FIB is based on the Fibonacci Series in math.  It starts with 1, 1 -- and then each subsequent number is the sum of the previous two numbers.  So, the Series is:

    1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8

And actually the series goes on.  But the FIB stops with 8.

The rules, then, are that the lines in the FIB have one, one, two, three, five, and eight syllables.

    This
    here
    is an
    example
    of a FIB, but not
a very good one, seems to me.

    OK? Hope this helps.

    Warmly, Aunt Bobby
