The silhouette is posted in the Artella Vision Digital Challenge Gallery, in the Silhouette Album, so this album is ready for anyone to post their altered silhouette, if they'd like.

This one will be great fun -- it will be interesting to see what people come up with.

Here's my call on the digitally edited silhouette.

It's called "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad Whirl"

That is really cool!  Very mandala-like.  It just draws you right in.  

What just happened here?  I've been staying up late, working for hours with Adobe Photoshop, learning new techniques, and having the time of my life!  My family can't figure out why a gal that 'goes to bed early, and gets up late' is consumed with this challenge!  Anyhow, here's my version of the Silhouette. I think she's been transformed so many times, she's ready for a rest.            - Chameleon

Thanks for the compliment!  I also would like to know how you accomplished your version of the Silhouette with the dramatic, energized background.  Your artwork title is right-on!

To tell you the truth, I did the background several years ago for another project, and did not use it at that time.  I made it in an earlier version of the Microsoft Digital Editor, and it had a "swirl" choice that you could use on backgrounds. So I just made some stripes, used the swirl, reduced that way down and saved it.  Then I did it again, and reduced it down so that the first swirl fit in the middle.  Then I did it one more time.

I tried to figure out how to do it with my current (latest) version of Digital Editor, and could not, so I just went back and swiped the old background.  Hardly fair, huh?

Now that sounds very interesting, Aunt Bobby.  Come to think of it, Photoshop has a twirl/motion, etc. tool, so maybe I'll give that a try.  So what you're saying is that you reworked your own artwork to complete another Rework artwork!  That's very awesome. Thanks for your help!

Ummm...how does one post a picture in the replies?  I found the insert picture button but it does not have a way to browse.   Hmmmm...it is probably a simple answer, I just have to find it. 

Can you hear me now?!!  I've recovered somewhat, but I had to share with everyone that my Silhouette image was chosen for The Brew, a new feature of the Artella Daily Muse http://www.artelladailymuse.com/.  My squealing had my hubby jumping from his comfy recliner to see what the excitement was about, and my snoring kitty even opened a lid to check out the action.  Congrats, Apjo and Obsidian.

Thank you Aunt Bobby.  With your instructions everything went fairly smoothly (I realized with my first attempt that I had to resize the picture.  I didn't hit post, I just sort of backed out, so hopefully that will not show up later...it was huge!)  Anyway, this was my spin on the silhouette.  Now all I have to do is think of something to do with the image from challenge six.  Thank you again Aunt Bobby!
