    Digital Art Rework, round 2

Anyone up for another round of image alchemy?  Let us see what we all do with this one...

    Kim and Bobby,

    Love your altered umbrellas!

Color me GREEN with envy that you're both able to do this. I posted my 'Help" query somewhere else.

I love it, Bobby.  So much color.  I'm going to do something with a greater challenge, hopefully.  The first post was done quickly.

Thanks, Pat.  Have you looked for tutorials on Photoshop.  There are tons on the Internet.  You can do it!

    Namaste,

It's BIGGER than I expected--my image size said it was 3X4 in.

I wanted to put type on sky area but couldn't get the text tool to properly place the words...will keep on with it. Am I in trouble for posting such a big image?

Don't you hate when that happens?  I've done that myself.  You did a great job!

I've re-sized it and added type. No problem at all--I don't know why I was having problems with the type tool before.

Thanks for your encouragement, Kim and Bobby!

    Nici, good challenge you gave!

I added my umbrella pic to the gallery.  I used the original umbrella as a mask for a piece of oriental material, and then made three different versions of it.  Hope you like it!

Looks great, Bill! It's a complicated picture (I think), the masked umbrellas are pretty. Now I have to learn masking, LOL! These challenges are leading me into doing more with photoshop.

    Thanks,
    Pat

Good addition to the gallery, Bill!  Neat idea, to use just the shape.

I KNEW you would have something original to add!

I can't believe how much there is to learn in Photoshop!  Plus Adobe keeps coming out with new versions promising bigger and better things.  At least the program is one of those things that is fun to experiment with, especially because you can just delete your disasters.  Tongue Tied

It took me awhile to gain confidence that anything I did on the computer could be retrieved, deleted, or whatever.  All I had to do was remember to save, save, save!  I've added my image to the Rework Gallery - hope you like it.      - chameleon
