Ah yes, KateSinging.  Don't forget the crunchy granola with cold milk for dessert. Mmmm....

Here's a good recipe for a rainy day.

    ~ chameleon

     Elephant Stew

    Ingredients
    • 1 elephant (medium size)
    • 1 rabbit (optional)
    • Salt and Pepper to taste

Cut elephant into bite sized pieces; this takes about 2 months. Add enough brown gravy to cover. Cook over kerosene fire at 465 degrees. Serves 3800 persons. For those who dislike elephant stew, the rabbit may be added -- but only if necessary because most people don't like hare in their stew.

Hint:  if you're really, really hungry, it's best to start cooking now so you can eat in two months!

    Re: Recipes, anyone?

Does anyone have a healthy, delicious recipe for fruit soup?  We are getting wild with strawberries here!  This morning I picked some small, jewel-like berries in my own garden, rinsed them with the hose and ate them in the garden.  Good gracious, how decadent!

I'd like to make a cold fruit soup - maybe with yogurt?

It would certainly make a good finish to the rather weighty meal Chameleon proposes in the last post!

Also, it might tide us over while we're waiting for that stew to cook.

You know, Kate Singing, that I've heard that strawberries are the absolute perfect accompainment to Elephant Stew.  I'd love to suggest a cold fruit soup but right now, I'm too full to even think of a recipe right now!
