Heal Estate, Mutts Day, and FoundArt.org

Today was a rich day for my mining of the Muse!  I read and printed out the Heal Estate "Are you Programmed for Stress? Relabeling Your Perceptions For the Better."  This hits home for me, and I can see that the negative effects of labeling can happen from both angles --- the person who has been labeled, and the person who does the labeling.  I am paying attention to the aspect of "re-naming" and applying this to recently "tragedies".  I see some light at the end of the tunnel already...

Say, was that Ms Constance Bates pup, Maggie, in the daily jigsaw??  Smile  Hi, Maggie.

Lastly, I am pleased to know about FoundArt.org.  Since I am not a Professional Artist but I love to create, I love the idea of having someplace to "lose" my artistic pieces!!  And of course, I myself would love to "find" any art.  I see a new horizon ahead!!

Thank you for these items ... I am Thursday Thankful.

What a great post to read!

I LOVED the FoundArt.org, too!  Credit our Shoppes Artist, Cathe Bedard, for mentioning it!

By the way, that pup in the puzzle sure looks like our Georgie!  (He's Border Collie & German Shepherd.)  And it certainly looks like our expensive, well-maintained front porch!  I just sent a note to Bobby to see.  Maggie, btw, was called "predominantly Border Collie", but she's definitely got Black Lab as the strongest genes...

Thanks again, Sooz, for your so-helpful commentary!

Re: Heal Estate, Mutts Day, and FoundArt.org

I'm so glad I read both of your posts.  I forgot to read Heal Estate when I looked at the Daily Muse.  (I'm usually reading it at work, so I have to do it quickly.)  I went and saved today's Heal Estate so I could read it again and again.  I especially enjoyed the part about God not looking at past performance. Sometimes we keep hitting ourselves over the head for something that we can not change.  We have to keep moving forward and forget the past.  That is so difficult to remember sometimes.
