Hello everyone...I'm back.  Are you ready for two more back to back ATC swaps?  I hope so because here goes.

In case you are new to this type of swap it goes like this:  Each participant is expected to create 5 Artist Trading Cards (ATCs) for a swap.  Each participant will then receive 4 ATCs in return.  I get to keep the extra one for hosting the swap.  ATCs are 2 1/2"w x 3 1/2" h cards that you embellish to your heart's content in keeping with the theme of each swap.  The hostess sets the theme. I will e-mail you Aunt Bobby's address after the signup deadline to mail in your ATCs so that she can scan all of them for posting.  After she scans them she will forward them to me.  I will promptly make the exchanges.  Remember to include a SASE envelope (2 first class stamps should be enough if you are using a regular envelope) when you mail your ATCs to Aunt Bobby. 

ATC Swap 1) "H" IS FOR . . . You supply the "H" word.  Is it houndog?  Howling at the moon?  A new houndstooth coat?  The only criteria is that you must include the letter "H" on the front of  your ATCs.  Sign up deadline is July 22.  The deadline for mailing in your ATCs is August 9.  You should receive your ATCs within two weeks.

ATC Swap 2) I DREAM . . . What do you dream of?  A tap dancing cat?  Winning the lottery?  World peace?  Sign up deadline is August 15.  The deadline for mailing in your ATCs is August 30.  Once again, you should receive your ATCs within two weeks.

If you have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to ask.  So get creative and most of all have fun!

I hope you don't mind if I take a few moments of your time for a personal note.  It has been 3 months since my car accident and I am still recovering.  I now have limited use of my right hand and can walk a short distance with a cane.  I wanted to thank all of you who sent me personal messages of hope and your prayers.  It meant a great deal to me and I know it has speeded up my recovery.  Blessings to you all,

I am so happy you are doing much better!  I think we should all go back to horse and buggy - it would solve the oil problem and stop car accidents.  What's a few horse plops anyway?!

Hi ATC Swappers,

Just a quick reminder that the "H" IS FOR ATC swap signup deadline is tomorrow.  So, if you have been thinking about joingin in and having some fun please let me know by July 22nd.As you can see we have had some excellent signups for this swap which means more work for me and guarantees that you will be getting 4 different ATCs in return.  On July 23rd, I will publish a list of all the sign ups just in case I have missed anyone who meant to sign up.  Several artists had problems sending e-mails from Artella. We all know that computers have glitch goblins and weird stuff happens!   If you sent me a viable e-mail you will be getting Aunt Bobby's address Wednesday so you can mail in your ATCs.  So, if you don't hear from me by 6 p.m. Wednesday PLEASE, please  send me an e-mail! O.K.?  Remember though I live in California, Pacific Time Zone! Thanks.
