    Autumn/Fall '08 Zine Swap - Updated July 07, 2008!

This feline furball is prancin' and dancin', 'cause we are having an Autumn/Fall '08 Zine Swap, hosted by yours truly! Please note these dates on your calendar:

    • Sign up here no later than Tuesday, September 02, 2008 (that's the day after Labor Day in the U.S.).
    • Zines should be postmarked to me by Saturday, October 11, 2008; please email me or send me a note in this thread so I know when you've shipped them.
    • A $5.00 fee should be included with your zines for s/h costs.

This is a 10 for 10 zines swap. To encourage more participation, I'm lowering the usual 16 pages to a minimum of 10 pages (that's five front/back) per zine, but more is certainly fine! You can choose any size, any theme, and any inclusions you would like. It's your publication, so have fun!

Don't know how to make a zine or what to do? You can email me or one of the past participants; also, Billizetti has written a great guide here:

    http://artellacafe.com/forums/t/1240.aspx

I'll email all participants my address after the sign up deadline. If you need it sooner, please contact me. There's plenty of time here, so now is not too soon to start having fun with them.

All right, let's see some paws-ipitation here!  Cool

    Autumn/Fall '08 Zine Swap!

I am so excited that all of you could join in this swap!

Remember, you can print your zine however you like - you can do it all by hand (Chris, I'm jealous!), you can print on different papers or whatever you would like. You can write, draw, paint, add pockets, tags, or whatever you desire that adds to your theme. It can even be a really broad theme - things that tickle your fancy, colors, photographs - whatever you want to include. It's your zine, have fun!

    Re: Autumn/Fall '08 Zine Swap!

How's my guy/gals doing with the themes of their zines? Remember, your busy lives and everything in it can make for great zine fodder. Any thoughts, questions, discussions? Love to hear it!

    Gentle hugs,

    ~copper cat

    Hi Zinester Copper Cat!

I'm getting my head around a theme at this moment in time but I'm sure I'll have questions as time passes seeing as this is my first time in the zinester pool!

    Re: Autumn/Fall '08 Zine Swap!

Hi Copper Cat! I have my theme all worked out and am making progress on my zine. I've never made one before, either, but I'm loving this! I will probably have some questions as I get further along. This is a lot of fun so far and I'm excited about working on it!  Big Smile
