    Constance Bates' poetry is the bomb!!  I loved "Birth Mother".  Constance, how do you do that?  How are you the way you are and yet able to describe without judgment the more raw sides of life?  You write it real, girl.  Thank you for your honor of the different sides of everything.

    I'm adding my voice to yours, Sooz!  Constance posses an uncanny sense of finding humour in small things and invariably captures the readers' attention.  It is honest writing, forthright, and amazing. It helps me appreciate the gift of simply being alive.
