I cannot tell you how excited I was by everything that you guys did for this contest! The voting for this contest was the closest EVER, and also had the most even-distributed voting patterns we have ever had, which just shows how torn all the voters were, in trying to pick just one!
Cheryl - "Butterfly Mania" made me just giggle with glee, and I can't wait for the sequel that you promise at the end! :-)
Barb - Your solution to "Alice for Short" was SO clever...so witty and soooo artfully done!
Isabella - You created the most unique scrapbook of family photos I've ever seen. I love it!
Carolyn - the beauty and majesty of "Living in the Rising Sun" is so powerful - every page is a stunning piece of artwork in and of itself!
Diane - I loved seeing Shakespeare's heroine's celebrated in this way. SUCH an original way to build on the existing theme of the book. And the pages are gorgeous (they really look like scans of 3D artwork, not digital!)
Sylvia - Every page in your book is so fun - and so obviously inspired by the original text. This book is a just a digital party!
Julie -The way you combined text, fun artsy elements, backgrounds and still preserved the original text is just genius! Beautiful!
Bobby - This theme is so powerful and so moving and the pages you made are beautiful. Your book is filled with purpose and elevates the entire art form.
Bill - Oh, the pioneer of creating DABs...I love EVERY book you've ever done, but this one is just so unique. I had no idea what anyone would ever do with the German song book but you turned it upside down and made it the canvas of a pop culture celebration. Awesome!
Tara - I loved how you incorporated the existing words on the page and how you showcased your amazing entries in the Artella contests. A totally innovative approach - I loved it!
EVERYONE - thank you for throwing yourselves into this activity and doing Digital Altered Books (and me!) sooooo proud!
