I can't stand this!  They are all too wonderful.  I don't know how we are suppose to choose just one.

Oopsy...I messed up somehow.  I voted and then was starting to collect my Vintage Photo pack ... I was just going to print each one out rather than saving them onto my computer ... and I got the first one ("two friends") but then something happened and the program advised me that it was unable to find the path or something like that.  (I know just how that feels :P)  Is there any way I can get a second chance to try to download or print the rest of the items in the pack? because when I went back and tried to start over, it said that my download had expired.  Sorry for my boo-boo...

Ok, so aren't the DABs WONDERFUL!

I know we usually don't have a lot of comments on these threads during the voting, but I'd like to encourage you to post your feedback about the books.  These artists have done an AMAZING job and I'd love to heap on the praise to ALL of them!! 

Thank you, thank you to everyone who entered for sharing your altered books! I love the different themes and I have had a lot of fun looking through each one.

Aunt Bobby, I couldn't agree more! I keep coming back here

so I can flip through the pages of all of the entries over and over again - I just can't help myself.

I would never have imagined that making Altered Books or even just looking at them could

be so addictive. I would recommend that everyone try at least one just for the pure fun of it.

These entries are just so beautiful, clever, and creative.

I must agree with Mary, you ALL have done an outstanding job!  These are amazing and I didn't want to have to choose... however, one in particular captured my heart and my vote... don't worry I'm not telling!    Again, CONGRATULATIONS TO EVERYONE!

 Hi Everybody!

I am just so hooked. I have to come back here each day and thumb through every single entry. I agree with Bill, they're all brilliant and colorful and each is a Masterpiece. I just love using my mouse to thumb through each page and I love hearing that little paper crackle as I turn each page. Then when I get to the end of each book, I am disappointed and saddened that there aren't more pages. 

I think I'm going to buy another one and contemplate what to do with it!

This DAB thing is the coolest thing ever!

This is an astounding cross-section of work from the Artella membership. After being introduced to digital altered books, life hasn't been the same since!  It brings together all one's artistic skills, and also provides narrative potential.  Creating a digital book has been an invigorating and rewarding project.  Thanks, Artella, and everyone for all your fine efforts.

Oh my gosh this is so exciting!  Like everyone else, I went bleary-eyed with fascination and frustration, but when I finally got going, I didn't even stop to make dinner for several nights. Luckily my husband is able to fend for himself occasionally. I thought everyone's entry was super, and once I saw all the finished entries I was suprised by how much I learned and the ideas I got from paging through (and paging through...and paging through...) everyone's DAB. What a fun roller coaster this was! If anyone would like jpgs of any or all of the pages I'd be glad to send them to you email....I'm printing them out and assembling a "paper" version! Congratulations Cheryl, Barb, and Isabella! Congratulations to all of the entrants! It was so much fun to look through these beautiful books over and over again. These challenges are so much fun to enter AND admire all of the entries. It's really hard for me to say which one has been my favorite to enter, but, I think this one is at the top of my list. I already have another DAB to work on as soon as a theme germinates in my head. Thank you, Marney, for the introduction to a really cool and fun kind of art form.

This has been so much fun! Like Cheryl, I was bleary-eyed many nights working away on the book, losing track of time. My husband was glad to see me so involved in doing something I thoroughly enjoyed, he didn't mind a few skimpy dinners! Like Julie, I already have another DAB to start work on. It has really given me a chance to play alot more in Photoshop and discover more of its features. All of the entries were such fun to page through! Thanks again, Marney, for the opportunity to participate in this art form. And thanks Artella for the wonderfully supportive community here!!
