Okay, I'm going to give it a try, I like that option, part digital and altered. Can you just explain the dates then, they have to be all made and delivered to you personally with $5.00 for shipping by a certain time, then there's a submission date?

Good Morning Everyone, I had to check in before I leave for work. I went to bed last night thinking about this, and I Have It! I know what I am doing first my first try and am excited to join the fun! And you're right, once you decide on what it is going to be about the thoughts for the pages just start to flow. I already have my idea for my cover and 6 of the pages already, just by laying in bed relaxing and doing nothing, ha, ha! This is going to be fun!!!!!!!

About dates: February 15 is the Commitment date (just so I'll know who is participating).

April 10 is the Mailing Date. That way, I'll receive them all about the same time, sort into "packages" and mail them back to you, all about the same time. Allowing for unseen delays and hidden obstacles, you will get your package of people's wonderful zines by the end of April.

So we'll all be more or less on the same page, time-wise.

Wow, Pat and Everyone!   Isn't this the greatest way to rev up our creativity for spring (at least here in the northern hemisphere)? -- cannot wait to get going on this project.  Reading all the posts and seeing the pics from the first zine challenge made my fingers itchy and my head agog with ideas.  However, I didn't find any info on how to bind a zine...is there a resource page here with a list of such pragmatic tips for those of us who are new to zine-making?  I have googled but can't find much consolidated info.  Also, are we going for the standard size and length as a flexible guideline again?  Share your knowledge and wisdom, please, experienced Zinesters?? All the best to each and all.  ~ Kitty

 Yep, I'm hosting this Zine Swap! Sorry that I haven't checked in for three days--my life had some upsets this week. I've been distracted, so much so that I forgot to Sign Out the last time I was here. (Do I get Demerit Points for that?)

Chris--we've said that the theme is chosen by the 'zinester. Using the cross theme is okay by me. I don't think any of the Artella group would object. If so, they can let us know.

Will get info about mail address and such out to everyone within a day or two.
