Hi Everyone, sorry to bother you, but can I please get a few people to check out my blog below, I am testing to see if I can do freebie giveaways and if I set it up right, I would appreciate any feedback at my blog on whether you could do this successfully or if you had problems, what were they so I can troubleshoot for future freebie giveaways, thank you to anyone who tests this for me, I really appreciate it! I didn't have any instructions on how to do this!

I completed the 'test' - whew! glad that's over....the stress!   Just wanted to let you know that it's definitely not bothering anyone by asking for help.  We all learn from each other.  Hope the results help you - that ribbon is great and who knows, it might be cropping up everywhere!

I was in the file updating something, and I know the instructions say if you are editing something people cannot get in and view it, I wonder if that was happening when you and julie went in, bill went in without any problems, I'll stay out of the file until more feedback comes in, I probably interrupted both of you.

I tried several times but was told i did not have access.

Chameleon: I was testing the downloading feature because as I do put these "lessons" whatever, up on the blog I want to give away a freebie sample with it, so this and the other ribbon were going to be the next "inspirations". Once I get it worked out I'll continue on.

Bill, do you have some type of special status behind the scenes that allows you to go anywhere? You had no problem but so far the last 3 that tried can't?

Hmmm.  I've always been told I'm special, but I always thought they meant I wasn't playing with a full deck!  But, no, I don't have any special status.  I just clicked on one of your posts when it was on the Cafe Home page (all posts show up there right after you have made any kind of posting) and it took me right to your blog.  I wonder if I have powers I never knew about?!

By the way, annamarie, I just found a picture I created of flowers in Illustrator when I took a class about 3 years ago.  I really like it, so I'm going to post it in my art gallery.  The problem is, I've forgotten everything I learned about Illustrator.  That's what old age does to you!

Great, let me know when you post it, I would love to see it, I am in a learning/growing pattern myself. I saw your photos on your blog with your family, you are not any older than me, ha, ha and I still have alot left in me. I have a 26 yr. old daughter and have been working at the same company for 30 years in the creative services area. Even after 30 years, I'm still too young to retire yet and get that monthly retirement benefit from my pension plan, I just turned 50. That's why I am starting to plan what do I want to do when I do retire. I have plenty of time now to plan and grow!

 

Hi Aunt Bobbie...egad, it's that pesky Darlene again (Fogal).  I went to the link you provided and clicked on it.  It said something about no blogs/administrators...but I clicked on the link that said files...received a no folders message.  So no green ribbon, etc.  What am I doing wrong?  I just tried this at 10:30 pm Pac. time

I tried the link several times. The link took me to the Artella Cafe login page, then once I logged in to a Control Panel, but no files to be found. I was able to right click on the ribbon and save the file that way.
