5, 7, 5 syllables

Indicate the season without using the word "winter"

You may write a 3-haiku Haiku; each stanza must work with the others, but be able to stand alone, too. 

The wolves are laughing

Pouncing, playing in the snow,

Even with no food
 

Snow blankets the earth

Icicles hang over head

Snow angels abound

Let it snow up north

Grateful for my desert home

I drink fresh orange juice

All the evidence

suggests the deer were waltzing

all night in the snow.
