Bye Bye Birdie! Digital Rework #1

The title comes from the 1963 film version with Ann-Margret's skirt-flipping, hair-tossing rendition of the song costing $60,000.00. The opening lyrics of the song seemed to fit with this little bird who won't appear again until springtime:

    Bye Bye Birdie
    I'm going to miss you so;
    Bye Bye Birdie
Why 'd you have to go?
    No more sunshine,
    It's followed you away

Chameleon -- I moved this little bird into the "bird" album with the rest of his friends.  OK?

Hi Everyone, Here is my submission for Bye Bye Birdie!

I was making this flock of birds thank you card, then all of a sudden I got the email from Aunt Bobby with the bird from this rework. Well, I love opportunities for things to do double duty, so that's what happend here!

1st it's a thank you for all of you that have helped me get started, then that bird showed up and had to join the flock and also become part of the rework challenge!

    AnnaMarie:

Would you like for me to put your bird rework in the Gallery with the other birds, or would you like to do it?  I'd really like to have him there -- he is just SO perfect where you put him.

And, you're welcome, my dear -- Warmly, Aunt Bobby

Re: Bye Bye Birdie! Digital Rework #1

Thank you Aunt Bobby, I was just trying to catch up on some of the challenges so I am where everyone else is, I did 1 - 4 today, and put them in the thread as you mentioned, but no, I had not put a copy into the challenge spot yet. 2-4 are uploaded onto the thread also. That is what you said to do right, people should put a 300 px in the thread, then a copy in the challenge spot also? Right! I will try my hand at putting it into the right spot, I gotta learn, if you don't see it there tomorrow, you know I did it wrong again! Thanks!

    Have a great evening!

Fantastic rework, annamarie!  Your work is inspiring, thoughtful and fun.... The Artella ribbon or 'thread' that holds us together is the perfect finishing touch.  Along with the lacing on the Girl Digital Rework, I'm curious about the ribbon - hope you can give some how-to's.

Re: Bye Bye Birdie! Digital Rework #1

Thank you Chameleon, I think your mixed media work is inspiring, and want to find time to try my hand at that!

Yes, I have you on my list of things to do, ha, ha!

1st: I had to catch up on the challenges: done

2nd: Bill has asked about the flowers I made on one of my photos on my gallery, so I am addressing his question today, I just posted on my blog how I make roses and then some versions to punk it out, I hope you can check it out too, if you like flowers. I would like feedback on what people would like to see on my blog.

3rd: You're next! The little girl was the first thing you asked about so that will become Inspiration #4 next.

Again, you've got some great artwork here, Ratmomma.  The scroll frame is an inviting way to take the eye further into the artwork; the subtle colors portray the mood of springtime.
