I love how you have her silhouette against a lit window with the ocean in the background.  It makes you think of those romantic stories of women who are waiting for their sailor to come home.  I love that it is a real photograph too.  Great job!

Thanks! That is exactly what I was thinking of!  I took that photo in February of this year; I was in a friend's wedding, and there was a tower room (overlooking Long Island Sound) for us bridesmaids to freshen up in. I could not resist the view!

    Elbereth and Nici:

I really like both of your takes on the silhouette.  Do you want me to post your pictures to the Gallery that goes with these Digital Art Reworks?  Or do you want to do it yourself?  The Gallery is called ArtellaVision Digital Challenge Gallery, and it's at this URL:   http://artellacafe.com/photos/artella_digital_challenge_gallery/default.aspx   There is an album for each challenge we have had, and these silhouette reworks would go in the Silhouette Album.

Let me know if you want to post them in the Gallery, or if you want me to.

    Warmly,    Aunt Bobby

Re: Digital art Rework Round 5

Thank you Aunt Bobby.  I found the digital gallery and figured out how to upload my picture to it yesterday (or was it the day before? hmmmm...my memory needs some work).  It was tons easier to figure out than adding a picture to the replies within this forum.  I was so glad to see your instructions because I was beginning to feel like a big dunce, especially considering that I had figured out the gallery and was still stumped by the replies.  Anyway, thank you for the offer though.

I just posted my rework of this silhouette in the gallery.  It is so amazing how different everyone's take is, and yet each one is fascinating and totally imaginative.  This is fun!

Re: Digital art Rework Round 5

thank you aunt bobby, I have one more left then I am caught up with everyone else. the phonograph! I am off on a day of vacation today so maybe I can fit that one in as well, but I also have a day planned with my daughter who is off on vacation today as well.

Chameleon, I saw your response about the little girl, then the system acted up last night, not sure if my post made it. I'll post instructions/how to, about the magical wand to get that tattered look on the ribbon.

Bill, I saw your response to the flower on one of my postings in my gallery, how did I make that? I will post that as Inspiration #3 today. Making the basic flower, then how that same flower evolves into other flowers that you can change out just by changing colors or gradients. Anyone else interesed in flowers, please visit me on my blog later today if you are interested in learning to make flowers.

If anyone is interested in the lacy effect on this challenge and does not already know how to achieve it and wants to know, let me know, I'll do an inspiration for that as well!
