Thanks for the compliments on the room guys! Yes, Mimi, the guy at Home Depot told me to just clean the cabinet real well (I washed it with a vinegar solution; stinky, but neutralizes oils well) and make sure you use a good quality primer. I did two coats to be sure, but it adhered with no trouble!
