. Spring Fever .

This girl makes me smile every time I look at her. She is full of Spring goodness. I love spring!

She is about 4 inches tall. I simply sketched her onto muslin, sewed her and cut her out. She's stuffed plumply with polyfil and then painted.

She has a pretty little flower painted on her belly. Her arms are beaded and she has little wooden leaves as her hands and feet. She has feathers all around her face. There is a little bee at the top of her head and a lady bug tickling her little body. The face is made of paperclay, without use of a mold. It's painted with acrylic craft paint. I think she has the sweetest expression!

As a final touch, I wrapped some pretty new fiber around her. She is ready to hang in a sunny spot. Anywhere you hang her instantly becomes a sunny spot. If you are itching for spring, she is the doll for you.
