I really enjoyed your composition in this. Terrific background paper too, wondered if you "created" that, as well. Love the woman's sweet face and posture... Lovely job overall.

Thanks sooz! The background is an old piece of sheet music, lightly gesso'd. The bird and butterfly were cut out of a different paper - then the whole thing is painted over with some acrylics. Easy and fun :)
Hi Eveline -- This is so very lovely! I too think her face and posture capture something so endearing. Love the layers of paint over the sheet music... and of course the butterfly and hearts! The words make it that much more special! Excellent job. Of course I have to say it would make an awesome card for the ongoing Card Swap... (or just to give as gifts). ~Lori
Thanks Lori - I had been thinking about making notecards from some of my collages, wondered what I'd do with them and then you mention the Card Swap and now I have no excuse not to make cards! :)
The colors in this are amazing. My favorite aspect of this are the wings "made of music". That's how I picture angels and you captured that beautifully!
