Believe me when I say that all of us appreciate how much little people can fill our daily lives with such deep, deep happiness and joy. A mother and father's life is forever changed but along with that comes tiredness and sometimes a lack of "Me" or "Us" time. For now, Marney, you can keep posting pics of your little precious Kai - we love it!

Hi Marney, Tony and Kai!

Kai looks like the sweetest little angel in his little green jammies. And, he looks so intent with his little book, like "look, Ma, I can read already" (I am such a proud Auntie!). And, last, but not least, how could you not love a baby with a smile such as Kai's? Kai's last photo had me grinning from ear to ear. It's time for my head to hit the pillow and I want to thank you for sending me off with such sweet and wonderful thoughts.

You know what the best part of being a parent is, Marney? It gets better and better as time goes on. Even with two sons, ages 30 and 25, a daughter-in-law and the very bestest of all --a grandson (10 months old!), not a day goes by that I don't smile with love in my heart. Kai is such a little charmer with those bright eyes and big smile....

All the hard work is so worth the joy that comes with being a parent. Little Kai is so cute it should be illegal! Everyone is probably sick of hearing me say it, but I sure wish one of our four kids would give us a grandchild! I can't wait until I can sit and read stories again to a little baby sitting in my lap!

Please stop posting all these pictures of Kai. He is so cute I want to take him home! I hope you are resting as much as possible and getting yourself back to normal, Marney. We miss you in Artellaland. Oh. If you ever need a babysitter, I'm available, but you'll have to pay for the plane ticket! :O)

6 weeks?? Where did that time go? I meant to say, "Congratulations!" 6 weeks ago! My apologies. Kai is a real cutie, and I don't say that about everyone's child.

Is there anythng more wonderful than a baby? Kai is a little doll...I love all the pictures, but my favorite is the big smile. Makes me smile, too, on a rainy day.
