Which is better--technique or expression? I've been pondering this since I hung my first art quilt yesterday. Quilters may find many technical irregularities but, as an artist, I can say the expression is true. The journey was fun even though it was long. I started working on the small, fine needlepoint piece in 2003--yikes, that's a long time ago. All that counts is it's done but the vision changed as I worked on the quilt--the process was fun.
