Hi there, I'm Annie...
I'm a freelance writer and artist and a mum of 2 kids (Michael 4 and Christina 1 1/2). Married to Robert for the past 10 1/2 years. I write for a parenting blog called GNMParents and I'm an assistant editor for Voices, an inspirational magazine here in Charlotte. This is on top of writing fiction and painting in acrylics and drawing in pastel in my spare (?) time. LOL
I didn't start taking my art seriously until 4 years ago, after Michael was born. I needed a creative outlet, so I started to paint. My hubby didn't think much of it...he's the rational, logical type and thought that if I wasn't earning money with it, it was useless. It took a lot of creative stubbornness on my part, but now I consider it a vocation as much as "just a hobby".
Soon, I'll upload some of my artwork in my gallery "Artistmum's Attic" and share some of my favorite paintings and drawings with all of you.
