Layer two is finished!
I finished the low relief stitches of my first Sumptuous Surfaces piece last night. Yay! I put three pictures in my gallery, but I just noticed that the third one, the detail of the inner arch, is blurry. I will have to take another photo of that part tonight. Meanwhile, here are the other two. The full picture is a little crooked because the piece wasn't under tension when I took the photo. It will all straighten out and not look crooked when it is properly finished off and ready for framing or whatever I decide to do with it.
The first is a picture of the whole piece. The one on the right is a detail of the upper corner of the piece. Now I get to start adding knots and beads! Yay! I've been waiting for this part.
